It was just three days, I adopt hamsters and everything just doing good. There's no smell inside my 44 litre plastic box container. However, I'm still curious with people saying this kind of cages are difficult to clean up.
First things I do was, take some fresh bedding and separates the dust by shake it and take the first(top) and the middle one. So the dust must be at the bottom.
When fresh bedding are ready, now it's time to take out your buddy's from the cages and also all parts(food bowl, wheel toy, drinking bottle, etc).
After all get outside(hamsters and parts), just simply throw away the old bedding and the old sand bath into the trash bin. And then wipe the inside cages using toilet paper, until it's clean.
Now put back your cages and fill with fresh bedding. Then all part's and the last one, your buddy. It's simple isn't ?? It just only take about 30 minute ...
